Anyway here goes: Firstly my name Amethyst. I chose this name as it is my favourite of all the gemstones. Apart from the fact that it is aesthetically very beautiful, i find it very soothing & relaxing. As a gemstone it represents intuition & spirituality. I always carry some with me wherever i go as a reminder of my own spiritual nature. I often find that a lot of lifes conflicts could be eased if only we could be more in touch with the intuitive side of our nature. Well enough about my name now onto the rest of me

For as long as i can remember i have always had an interest in most things New Age but it was at an early age when i discovered the tarot and i found i had an instant affinity with it. Since then i have been practising the art of tarot reading for about 20 years now.

I have always had a well developed intuitive side to my nature, posessing both empathy and clairsentient abilities. Indeed my great grandmother was a psychic, so i guess her gift was passed on to me.

I have a deeply caring side to my nature and find that i can easily empathise with people. I also a great interest in self-development and am paticularly interested in meditation and visualisation techniques. I am currently writing a book in this area detailing some of my own techniques including; creative visualisation, stress relief, Reality manifestation, inner peace and inner guidance.

I feel that life is not only a learning process. But a wonderful journey in which we can learn much, not only about ourselves but also about others along the way.
