I am working in the Civil Service. I work with computers as part of my work. I deal with the public in person and on the phone, so I am used to dealing with people. I give them advise over the phone. I am at present completing my ECDL course. I have completed a course in computers as part of a business studies course it is a three year course and I have another 2 years to complete before I get my Business Studies certificate.. I could advise beginners on typing, saving and changing a document, editing, making changes and various aspects of word, saving to discs etc., I also know a bit about powerpoint and basic Excel, access, excel and the internet etc. accessing the internet, accessing information, going into various web pages, how to use the search engines, paying bills and ordering products. I like working with computers. I own my own Personal computer and I have my own phone line beside my computer. I have Windows XP installed. I have my leaving certificate, Secretarial certificate and My European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL). I got between 93 and 100% marks in all modules of ECDL. I often help people with computers in my job if they need assistance. I think my advice would be beneficial to people starting off in computers. I could offer them basic advice and guide them when creating a document. I work three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I am available in the evenings after 6.30.p.m. I have a mobile phone. You can ring me during working hours also. I am off on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. I am presently on Term time until September,2003 to spend a little time with my daughter who is on holidays from School. Thanks. Yours truly Guide Christine
