As part of our customer acquisition strategy, first-time callers have the option of trying the Keen service for a 3 free minute call their first time. Keen requires a customer credit card on all new customer offers (Domestic and International), which means, you're getting qualified customers that have the ability to pay. Please note that this policy only refers to the Keen free 3 minute offer and does not affect other promotional calls, such as Advisor free minutes and other Keen offers.
To calculate your Advisor earnings on these calls, please review the rules below, credit policy and examples.
Rules:
- Advisors will earn at least £0.56 per minute for 3 free minute calls (£1.99 per minute -less connection charge and commissions) regardless of whether the caller is domestic or international. Most calls you will earn more than £0.56 per minute.
- Advisors who participate in a Group will still be subject to the terms of that Group in which case they may earn less than £0.56 per minute.
- International callers will be required to add a valid credit card to get their 3 free minutes.
- International connection charges vary by country, and there may be some cases when your call details will show that you earned less than £0.56 per minute on a 3 free minute call from an international caller. It shouldn't be common, but when it happens Keen will credit you the difference to ensure you still earn at least £0.56 a minute (see credit policy below).
- If an Advisor takes calls on an international number, he or she will be responsible for the connection charge that may occur (on each leg of the call) when taking 3 free minute calls internationally.
- Advisors who participate in Groups will be subject to the economics and terms of their particular Group.
Credit Policy:
- Customer Support will issue credits to speakers to make up the difference between the £0.56 /min. rate and the earnings calculated by the system if the caller is international subject to the rules described herein.
- Advisors will not be eligible for a credit on connection charges that they incur when taking calls on an international number.
- Advisors must submit a credit request within 7 days of the transaction.
Requesting Credit:
To request a credit, please fill out the
Customer Support form. Be sure to select "Offers/Invitations" from the Subject drop-down and include the following information:
- Member Name of the Caller
- Date and time the call started
- Billable Call Length
- Your total earnings for the call

If you are a speaker in the United Kingdom and you take a 3 free minute call from a customer in the Unites States, the call details would breakdown is as follows:
Billable Call Length: 3 Free Minutes
Keen Customer's Cost: £5.97 (£1.99 per minute)
Connection Charge: -£1.13
Our Fee: -£1.83
